Dear Family and Friends,

Warm greetings to you from Southern California!  We wish God’s rich blessings upon you and your families.

June 6 marked the 10^th anniversary of our “D-Day.”  For those of you who attended our wedding, I’m afraid you’re 10 years older too!  We celebrated by returning to the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas where we spent the first few days of married life.  We enjoyed our brief vacation, for what awaited us later in the year has opened a new chapter in our lives.

On October 9 we welcomed Rachel Elizabeth into this world.  She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20 inches long.  Her parents and grandparents are thrilled!  She is a perfect, beautiful girl.  Even our cats Essie and Dodger are pleased with the addition.  She is growing well and enjoying life.  We are truly blessed.  While there is much in this world that reminds us that sin is still among us, a new life touches us with the hand of God.
